Last night The Lacrosse Radio Network hosted their MLL Championship Preview Show, where they spoke with Jake Steinfeld, Dave Gross, Joe Spallina and Brett Hughes.
Steinfeld joined the show to talk about his new book, Take a Shot! just like he did on Lax Live last week. He touched on his book being optioned to be made into a TV series by Lionsgate, and he talked about 2012 MLL Championship Weekend.
David Gross also spoke about the league, Championship Weekend, and he addressed the comments from retired player Casey Powell from last week’s show. He said Powell was obligated to the Nationals vs Hounds game, and choosing the Lake Placid Tournament warranted a suspension.
Joe Spallina, the MLL head coach of the year and the head coach of the Long Island Lizards, spoke about the matcup with the Denver Outlaws in the playoffs. Brett Hughes, who just retired from MLL after playing with the Ohio Machine, spoke about his career in the league.
