MLL Power Rankings: The Eliminated

Major League Lacrosse season is now over, and the playoffs are ready to begin. With the playoff teams battling it out, let’s rank the teams who are not in the playoffs.

1. Charlotte Hounds- The Hounds did a good job this season, despite missing the playoffs. They have some big name players, they addressed their needs when they had to, and they built a fanbase larger than most expansion teams.

2. Rochester Rattlers- Rochester had a chance for the playoffs after a two win season in 2011. That’s progress for them, but yet they still feel to the Hounds who were out of the race on the last day of the season.

3. Ohio Machine- Ohio won just two games this season, but as an expansion team, they deserve some slack. They have a pretty good base of players for the future, and that is something to build on.

4. Hamilton Nationals- Nationals finish behind Ohio because they were a team to go to the Championship last season and finished with one of the worst records in the league in 2012. They have a young team and still have a bright future, but this season was no doubt disappointing.
