Major League Lacrosse has announced that the 2014 Supplemental Draft will take place on Wednesday, December 4.
Several players selected in last year’s Supplemental Draft went on to make significant contributions to their teams.
MLL veteran Chris Schiller and Face Off specialist Tim Fallon helped the Charlotte Hounds reach their first playoff berth, while Casey Powell was instrumental in the Chesapeake Bayhawks run to the 2013 Steinfeld Trophy.
The League also announced that registration is open for the League Player Pool in advance of draft.
You do not need to register if:
a) You appeared on any 2013 MLL roster
b) Registered for the 2013 Undrafted Collegiate Player Waivers in June 2013, but went undrafted
MCLA student athletes who currently have eligibility remaining with the MCLA, can submit an application and will only lose MCLA eligibility upon signing an MLL contract.
NCAA student athletes who currently have eligibility remaining with the NCAA, cannot apply for the Player Pool. Upon submitting the player pool registration form you will forfeit any remaining NCAA eligibility.
If you have questions about your current amateur status or eligibility, please check first with your school’s Compliance Director.
