MLL Team Reports: Week Four

Hamilton Nationals

The Nationals activated Tucker Durkin and Reid Acton from the college inactive list. Rhys Duch and Kyle Rubisch were also placed on the PUP list. Cody Jamieson, Stephen Keogh and Joe Walters were all also activated. Brett Queener remains injured with Evan Kirk getting the start in net this week.

Charlotte Hounds

Goaltender Sean Aaron was assigned to the practice squad while Loyola attackman Mike Sawyer was activated. Ryan Young, after a seven goal performance last week, did not make the trip to Hamilton.

Boston Cannons

Jordan Burke was officially placed on the IR this week. Chris Mattes is back on the roster after Craig Bunker had been activated last week. Ari Sussman will be back in the lineup after he was out last week for personal reasons.

Rochester Rattlers

Rochester was happy to see Jordan MacIntosh score in his first game back, but the Rattlers scoring has struggled as much as anyone. Their goals against is also the third highest in the league, but they face a low scoring Machine roster this week.

Denver Outlaws

Roger Ferguson was activated from the college inactive list. Adam Jones also placed on the Did Not Report list. Zack Greer will be out for the Outlaws this week as they play their first game in Denver.

Chesapeake Bayhawks

Casey Powell is active, but will he suit up in Boston? Head coach Dave Cottle says his return is “right around the corner”. Kip Turner is allowing just a little over four goals a game, which will be big against a struggling Boston team this week.

Ohio Machine

For a team that can’t score already, it was bad news to see Connor Martin placed on Injured Reserve. They also claimed Kevin Kaminski, who played with Charlotte last season, from the league player pool. Peter Baum has an injury and might not play this week.

New York Lizards

Brian Langtry retired last week, but overall the Lizards need to find more ways to score goals after back to back road losses. They also sent David Hill to the practice squad this week along with Matt Cannone.
