Peterborough @ Brooklin – June 26th – 8 PM
The second place Peterborough Lakers (7-3) head to Brooklin tonight to take on the Redmen (6-3-1) in their third meeting of the season. The Lakers and Redmen have split the season series one game a piece with the Lakers winning 7-4 in their last meeting. Veteran all-star John Grant Jr. will be making his season debut for the Lakers after missing the first ten games due to other commitments. Look for him to have a major impact in the game on the offensive side of the floor.
Six Nations @ Peterborough – June 27th – 8 PM
The Chiefs (7-3-1) head to Peterborough to take on Lakers at the Memorial Centre on Thursday night in what should be a feisty affair with both teams racking up 48 penalty minutes in their only meeting this season. Six Nations defeated Peterborough 12-7 back on June 2nd. The Chiefs will need to shut down league scoring leader Shawn Evans (63 points) if they hope to make it a close game.
Oakville @ Six Nations – June 30th – 7 PM
The 2-6-1 Oakville Rock is coming off a 10-7 loss to Brooklin in their last game and are looking to rebound against the first place Six Nations Chiefs. The Rock has had a tough season managing only five points out of a possible 18; however, they have lost three one goal games this season. In Oakville’s season opener, the Six Nations Chiefs defeated the Rock 18-7, look for this game to be much closer, as the Rock have seemed to gain more confidence as the season progresses.
