Peterborough @ Six Nations, 7:00 pm
Season series TBD
Much of Saturday’s game will depend on who won and by how much on Thursday. While players will tell you it’s a new day and the past is behind them, one of these teams will be looking to avenge Thursday’s loss. The ILA is the only arena the Lakers have lost in this season, and typically win only 50 percent of games there.
The game could get interesting as it’s the back half of a home-and-home and the players will all be sick of each other. Look for tempers to flare early in the game before things settle down and the players start concentrating on winning. Scott Evans should be back in the Peterborough lineup and if Rory Smith is available for Six Nations, don’t be surprised to see these two renew acquaintances.

Oakville @ KW, 6:00 pm
Season series 1-0 KW
KW beat Oakville 8-7 in the team’s first meeting on June 6. The second meeting should be a good matchup as Oakville needs to take down the teams closest to it in the standings to gain some ground in the playoff race, and this test against Kitchener could net them their first win of the season (their only two points so far coming from overtime losses).
Their previous meeting got a little out of hand, with 13 roughing minors in the first period alone.
Without Dhane Smith, KW will have to count on its role players to dig deep in this game to stop the up and coming Rock from stealing one. Oakville has come close several times this season but hasn’t been been able to make that last push to the win column.
