The Hamilton Nationals will be seeking their eighth win this season to stay three games back of the Denver Outlaws. The Nationals will take on the 1-9 Ohio Machine, who have struggled all season to score.
The Nationals are heading into the as the second place team in the standings and also have Kevin Crowley who is second in the MLL at midfield for points and third overall in points. Hamilton’s midfield is the heart and soul of their offense, which will need to be firing on all cylinders to pull off a win against and underrated Machine defense. Along with Crowley, fellow midfielder, Joe Walters will need to create so good looks to relieve the pressure on the attackmen to create for themselves.
The Ohio Machine are coming into the game as the last place team in the MLL. They have struggled to put the ball in the net all season. One of the few bright sides for the Machine is the play by Steele Stanwick and rookie Logan Schuss. Stanwick leads the team with 23 points (8g, 15a), while Schuss is one of the breakout players of the year.
The Hamilton Nationals have a lot on line at this point in the season, while the Machine can play the spoiler roll and look to next season.
