NCAA: Stony Brook Travels to Lafayette

Stony Brook is 0-1 to face the season after two scheduled games. Their first game against Fairfield was cancelled, so it ended up they opened against Marist and lost this past week. Stony Brook had led 4-0 in the game before the Marist Red Foxes were able to come back.

Then we have the Lafayette Leopards. The Leopards are 1-0 after they defeated the Georgetown Hoyas 11-10 in overtime. John Floyd scored the winning goal for them about three minutes into the OT session.

The Leopards are led by attackman Sonny Round who scored four times last week in their victory. Also to be watched are Brian Bock and Jake Mann. Brody Eastwood lead the Seawolves last game with three goals.

In net for Stony Brook is Dan Shaugnessy who made six saves last game. Between the pipes in Lafayette is Jake Hyatt, giving the Seawolves a challenge. He stopped 16 Georgetown shots in their win this weekend.

Stony Brook struggled to get shots late in their last game, with just four in the fourth quarter. They need to put some balls on net, but Hyatt and the Leopards will be ready. Gametime is 4:30pm.
