On Saturday afternoon, the Washington Stealth held their free agent and rookie try out camp. They yielded at least one name familiar to NLL fans.
Nick Patterson was the starting goaltender for the Minnesota Swarm to start the 2012 season, before he became unearthed by rookies Evan Kirk and Tyler Carlson. After their performances, the Swarm traded held out goalie Anthony Cosmo and released Patterson.
Patterson did not get signed by a team, but he was at Stealth camp on Saturday. If he were to make it to the regular training camp in December, Patterson would be the third goalie there, after Chris Seidel and Tyler Richards.
