While training camp has just begun and it is hard to keep track of who does what, we decided to take a look at some stand out players, according to some players and coaches who saw these guys play at camp.
Jordan McBride- Colorado Mammoth
McBride scored two goals in the exhibition against Minnesota, giving us a solid stat to base this off of. The second year player is looking to break out with the Mammoth in 2013, and so far he has looked very good for Colorado in camp.
McBride will play again this Saturday in Langley against the Calgary Roughnecks in their pre season match.
Evan Kirk- Minnesota Swarm
Kirk allowed just one goal in one quarter of play against the Mammoth. They played all four of their goalies, Kirk, Tyler Carlson, Ryan Masters and Zach Higgins, but Kirk, the fifth overall pick in the draft last season, was the standout.
Kirk took over as the starting goalie in 2012, and is expected to be the starter yet again. He will get more action in the exhibition against Minnesota this weekend.
Tyler Glebe- Toronto Rock
There are no stats for Glebe, but after talking to reporters and players at the Toronto camp this weekend, it is clear that the 19 year old goaltender was very impressive. The goalie out of London.
Glebe is in a battle for the backup with Zak Boychuk, so it will be interesting to watch throughout the rest of camp.
