Week six in the NLL saw wins from Washington, Rochester (twice), Calgary and Minnesota. In those games several stars shone, but we have the top three.
Tyler Richards, Washington Stealth/Matt Vince, Rochester Knighthawks
Richards had the best game of any NLL goaltender this season on Saturday night, when he stopped 51 Colorado shots out of 57. It is the second week in a row Richards has allowed seven goals or less, and now that he is completely healthy, he is dominating.
Vinc made 97 saves in two games this weekend. That means in those two games he averaged 48.5 saves as he led the Hawks to two wins and brought them back to .500.
Dan Dawson, Rochester Knighthawks
Dan Dawson scored five times and picked up 11 assists this weekend as Rochester turned back into the scoring machine they were expected to be before the season. He led Rochester to their 20 goal game against Philadelphia and their win against Buffalo the next night,
Tyler Hass, Minnesota Swarm
Some players might have had better statistical weeks, but Tyler Hass was the star when Minnesota defeated a five win Toronto Rock squad. He scored three times including the overtime game winner that sent Minnesota to their second win of the season.
