Just a few games into the 2015 Ontario Jr. A Lacrosse season and players are already making their mark on the floor across the province. Our very own Pat Gregoire breaks down his selections for the ILWT Three Stars for Week 1.
Third Star- Cam Milligan- Peterborough Lakers- Cam Milligan had a big week, for the Lakers netting seven goals, five assists for 13 points in three games. The big righty currently leads the league in scoring through four games with 18 points(9G,9A).
Second Star – Austin Shanks- Whitby Warriors- Austin Shanks found the back of the cage eight times while dishing out eight assists in three games with the Whitby Warriors. The Bellarmine Knight’s 16 points places him second in scoring, just two shy of Milligan’s lead.
First Star- Andrew Kew- Burlington Chiefs – Rookie Andrew Kew has made an impact early in his first Jr.A season with the Burlington Chiefs. The Oakville Buzz product has seven goals, nine assists for 16 points in three games, which 9 of those points came in the Cheifs 17-9 win over Mimico.
