On Tuesday night both Parrot and Rebel improved to 2-0 on the season in the Baltimore Indoor Lacrosse League. Both clubs had repeat showings from week one but the competition increased as other teams gain experience.
In the first game Parrot defeated the on-the-rise Ensure Productivity, 10-5. Will Harrington (Ohio Machine, MLL) led the way with four goals followed by two from Matt Hickman. Tyler Midwinter was the leading scorer for Ensure Productivity with two goals. Adam Miller made 18 saves in the win compared to the 24 from Patrick Crosby in a loss.
The second game saw Rebel win a 10-7 contest over First Mariner. Led by two goals from both Ben Hunt (Chesapeake Bayhawks), Ryan Wheeler and Scott Joiner with two goals each, Rebel also saw a goal from Jordan Hall (Rochester Knighthawks) and 29 saves from Ginny Capicchioni in a winning effort.
First Mariner also improved in the second week with 27 saves from Jack Runkel (Loyola) and two goals from Jamison Mullen. Defensemen JP Dalton and Shaun Nadelen each also added two goals.
