According to reports, Charlotte Hounds midfielder Peet Poillon will be an assistant coach with the Hobart Statesmen.Poillon has been in MLL for years as a midfielder with Boston, Chesapeake, Denver and then Charlotte for the past two seasons. Poillon was a volunteer assistant coach with the Delaware Blue Hens last season.
The head coach at Hobart is Greg Raymond who was hired earlier this off season. Raymond was previously a defensive coordinator with Princeton before he joined the Statesmen.
Hobart is going through a lot of transition this year, joining the North Eastern Conference in 2014.
This season in Major League Lacrosse Poillon is third on the Hounds in scoring with 33 points. Over his six year MLL career he has 146 points and seven game winning goals. His biggest season came in 2010 when he scored 41 points in a season.
Poillon has previously been a head coach at his former high school Seneca Valley in Maryland.
