The Calgary Roughnecks scored seven unanswered goals in the first quarter leading to a convincing 19-13 win over the Toronto Rock.
- Colin Doyle of the Rock picked up his 1,300th career point in the second quarter.
- Mike Poulin made a whopping 48 saves in the win and pushed past Curtis Palidwor for the Roughnecks’ all-time lead in saves (2,130).
- Curtis Dickson picked up the sock trick for the Roughnecks and Dane Dobbie added four while Stephan Leblanc scored five for the Rock.
- Toronto is 0-5 on the road so far this year and 4-6 overall. Calgary improves to 6-3.
- Aside from the ugly first quarter Toronto dominated the game. They outscored Calgary 13-12 in the final three quarters and, by the end of the game, had outshot the Roughnecks 61-50, committed fewer turnovers 25-35 and forced more turnovers 11-7.
