Rochester Knighthawks fans can celebrate the 2012 National Lacrosse League Championship Saturday night at Sahlen’s Stadium. Members of the World Championship Knighthawks will be on hand with the Champion’s Cup, as the Rochester Rattlers host the Hamilton Nationals in Major League Lacrosse action.
In recognition of the Knighthawks’ championship season, the Rattlers are offering lacrosse fans discounted tickets to the 7:00 p.m. contest on Saturday, June 23rd. Tickets are only $10 for best available seating, but must be ordered by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 22nd. Goalie Matt Vinc and team captain Pat McCready will escort the Cup onto the field. They will be joined by four teammates who will play in the MLL game. Cody Jamieson, Joe Walters and Stephen Keogh of the Nationals will take on the Rattlers’ Joel White. The Nationals staff also includes Knighthawks Assistant Coach Jason Johnson, Athletic Trainer Steve Lobsinger, Scout Brian Hobart and VP of Player Personnel Jody Gage.
