Yesterday we learned the New Jersey Rascals have decided not to play in the Professional Lacrosse League in 2012, their season set to start in just a week.
The PLL’s questionable history has long been discussed, but yesterday, we took to Twitter to find the fan reaction from others who followed the league.
@lacrossewetrust I suspect the bigger issue is leadership, and not number of teams. At least that’s my sense from the outside looking in.

@lacrossewetrust as player & fan I’ve seen enough. Its crushing what ever credibility pro leagues had. Its just bad for the game.

@lacrossewetrust bad move for the PLL. I know it didn’t work out before but try reconcile with the NALL…at least will be more interesting

@lacrossewetrust call me crazy but would it be a bad idea to take the remaining teams from the #PLL and have them join the #NALL? #LaxonLax
