Rebels Get Closer to Founders Cup

The Six Nations Rebels inch closer to their third straight Founders Cup championship as they remain undefeated in playoffs and are up two games to none on the Niagara-on-the-Lake Thunderhawks.
The Rebels have had no problem finding the back of the cage in round two as they’ve scored a combined total of 20 goals in two contests.
Leading the offensive charge for Six Nations is the dynamic duo of Ian Martin and Dallas John. The 2013 scoring champion Martin has registered seven points (1G,7A) in the second round and a total of 19 points (8G,11A) in the four 2013 playoff games. John has registered 8 points in the first two games of round two and a total of 17 (8G,9A) thus far in the 2013 Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League playoffs.
Play will resume this Friday as the Thunderhawks will travel to the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena to fight for their playoff hopes at 8 p.m.

The Orangeville Northmen are ahead 1-0 on the Windsor Clippers as the black and silver nabbed game one with a 12-9 victory.
Brenden Miller continued to put together a solid 2013 playoff campaign as he notched six points (in game one. His playoff total extends to 19 points in four games.
On the other side of the floor, Lucas Ducharme lead the way offensively for the Clippers. The Detroit Mercy commit netted a hat-trick while adding a helper.
The action continues tonight as the Clippers host the Northmen in hopes of knotting up the series at one with a win.
