The Calgary Roughnecks today announced the team has re-signed defenceman Scott Carnegie to a two-year contract, pending league approval.
Carnegie, 28, has spent his entire NLL career with the Roughnecks, recording 29 points (four goals, 25 assists), 301 loose balls and 120 penalty minutes over seven seasons and 79 games played. The London, Ontario, product joined the Roughnecks as a free agent in 2008 and helped Calgary capture its second Champion’s Cup in 2009. He spent the 2014 campaign on the injured reserve after suffering an Achilles injury during training camp.
