General Manager and Head Coach Derek Keenan announced today the Rush have signed forward Corey Small to a three year agreement.
“Corey Small is another foundation player who along with owner Bruce Urban shows long term commitment to the success of the Rush with the signing of multi-year agreement” states Keenan
The Rush forward selected ninth overall in the NLL 2009 Entry Draft, did not play the 2014 NLL Season for the Rush due to injury and took the year for a full recovery.
“Corey’s commitment to taking the proper recovery from the injury is the result of the excellent recovery and great success he had during the off season playing summer ball” continues Keenan.
“We can’t wait to see Corey back on the turf at training camp, his presence will add another dangerous weapon to our offense.”
In four seasons with the Rush, Small has played 62 games for 87 goals, 127 assists for 214 pts. Small played for the St. Catherine Athletics in the OLA Junior A Lacrosse League from to 2004 to 2008.
