It has been heard that Yale Bulldogs defensive coordinator Ryan Polley will be named the head coach of the Boston University Terriers men’s lacrosse team.
It was announced a few days ago that the Terriers would be moving from the America East conference to the Patriot League, so it has been a busy wee in BU lacrosse.
Polley was named the Yale defensive coordinator in 2010 and has been with the program for a total of six seasons. He has also been the head coach at Merrimack University, which is in Massachusetts.
There are now only three head coaching positions open in division one, which are Monmouth, Manhatten and Lafayette. BU is set to join Division One in lacrosse for the 2013 season.
