The Colorado Sabertooths destroyed the Midwest Indoor Lacrosse Association last season, and as they head into their second season in the now Continental Indoor Lacrosse League, they prepare to defend their title.The Sabertooths should get most of their roster back this season, including former NLLer Kevin Tait and current Colorado Mammoth player Alex Demopolous. Meanwhile, current Mammoth player John Gallant will be the team’s head coach.
The Sabertooths will play in the league’s Western Division and have a tough schedule. They open up with back to backs against the Chicago Outlaws and the 2011 league champion Grand Rapids Dragonfish.
They also face on their schedule the Milwaukee Marauders and exhibitions against the Utah TribalWest and other clubs. They will host open combines on July 22nd and July 29th in Denver, Colorado.
The CILL is committed to being a professional level style of box lacrosse and play under National Lacrosse League rules.
