On Friday the Barrie Blizzard acquired Wes McDonald, Scott Gamble, and Geoff Griffiths from the Durham Turfdogs in exchange for Jason Mainer and Cal Kitson. In front of 5,283 at Syracuse’s Carrier Dome, the fifth-ranked Maryland Terrapins defeated the No. 2 Syracuse Orange 16-8 on Saturday afternoon.
