Both teams are now 5-3 on the season and both remain in second place in their respective divisions. Barrie and Durham Swap Players

On Friday the Barrie Blizzard acquired Wes McDonald, Scott Gamble, and Geoff Griffiths from the Durham Turfdogs in exchange for Jason Mainer and Cal Kitson. In front of 5,283 at Syracuse’s Carrier Dome, the fifth-ranked Maryland Terrapins defeated the No. 2 Syracuse Orange 16-8 on Saturday afternoon. The Terrapins second quarter 10-goal charge led them to an impressive victory over the Orange.
