Toronto Rock Owner, President and GM Jamie Dawick has announced several roster moves as the NLL roster cutdown day approaches on Friday at 10am EST.
Defencemen Tyler Roche and Mark Farthing, along with forward Dan Keane have been released from the active roster. Farthing and Keane were free agent invites to training camp, while Roche was a 2015 NLL Draft choice.
To trim the roster by one more, veteran forward Kevin Ross has been moved to the physically unable to perform list. Ross injured his wrist in the summer playing for the Oakville Rock of Ontario’s Major Series Lacrosse (MSL). He underwent surgery on the wrist a couple of months ago and is targeting an early season return to the lineup.
The Rock will play one more pre-season game against the Georgia Swarm on Saturday, December 19th at 7 p.m. at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre.
