TRX Partners with LXM PRO Tour Star Peter Baum To Launch TRX Rip Lacrosse

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – January 8, 2014 – TRX®, the industry leader in functional training and creator of Suspension Training® bodyweight exercise, has recently announced the launch of their TRX Rip Lacrosse workout and signed on professional lacrosse player, Peter Baum.

To accompany the partnership with Baum, TRX has created a TRX Rip Training program specifically for the needs of lacrosse players, targeted towards youth, high school and college players. The soon-to-be released workout will star Baum alongside youth athletes and is ultimately designed to help players increase rotational power, total-body agility and left/right balance for peak on-field performance.

“TRX has been anxious to break into the lacrosse market for years”, said TRX CEO Randy Hetrick, “signing with Peter Baum is just the beginning of an exciting road ahead.“

Baum, a Colgate alum, was the Tewaaraton Trophy winner in 2012 and selected as the number one MLL Draft pick in 2013. He is committed to helping develop a new generation of top-level lacrosse athletes for the quickly growing sport.

Rip Training variable resistance exercise is a multi-faceted approach to strength and cardiovascular conditioning that challenges you in all three planes of motion with every rep, every set, every workout. It is the ideal training tool for rotational sports, such as lacrosse.  The TRX Rip Lacrosse workout was developed specifically for lacrosse athletes looking to take their game to the next level, regardless of whether they are a novice or pro player.
