Dan Keane continued his impressive rookie season this past weekend, netting a hat trick and two assists.
For the third time this year in the Elora,ON native was named Rookie of the Week. Keane has found the back of the net 11 times, good enough for first in the league.
Fellow Southwest rookie Eric Pitre once again dominated on the back end while chipping in on the offense. The Toronto,ON native chipped in with three assists in the Cyclops 14-12 win over the TurfDogs. Another Cyclops freshmen chipped in the offense as Jordan Critch tallied a goal and two assists. The former Buffalo Bandit four goals and 10 assists on the year.
Connor Latimer had a big weekend for the Blizzard, netting a pair of goals and assists for four points. The third overall pick in the 2014 Entry Draft now has three goals, three assists for six points in three games.
Mike Mawdsley scored two goals and added an assist for the Blizzard. The Sacred Heart grad sits third in points on Barrie with 11.
