Todd Kozak was the top overall pick in the Canadian Lacrosse League supplemental draft to the Niagara Lock Monsters later in this week. The Burlington Chiefs product attended Rochester Knighthawks camp.
The second pick of the two-round draft went to the Southwest Cyclops who drafted Dylan Webster. Webster was a draft pick of the Toronto Rock and attended their camp. He is also a member of the Brampton Excelsiors.
Going third was Mike Woods to the Barrie Blizzard. Woods is currently a member of the Colorado Mammoth practice roster. Niagara then took Rory Glaves, who was just cut by the Rochester Knighthawks, to close out the first round.
The first pick of the second round was Matt Crough to the Durham TurfDogs. Crough is a member of the New England Black Wolves practice roster and he is out of the Peterborough Lakers.
The next pick to the Cyclops was Glen Bryan, just released by the Buffalo Bandits. Bryan has had a solid NLL career with the Bandits and also the Toronto Rock.
Barrie made the splash of the draft by selecting Shawn Williams. Williams, who was a free agent from Buffalo this season, signed with Toronto but was cut out of training camp,
Lastly, Durham drafted Ian Crawford, a defenseman from the Minnesota Swarm practice roster. Crawford has played with the Kahnawake Mohawks.
