While the Victoria Shamrocks have acquired goaltender Matt Roik earlier this month, they traded away the rights of goalie Riley Camazzola to the Coquitlam Adanacs in exchange for a fifth round pick last year.
The Shamrocks are set with goalies, having Roik and Cody Hadgdorn. Camazzola was drafted by the Shamrocks out of the junior Adanacs organization in the 2015 Western Lacrosse Assiociation draft.
Last season Camazzola played 16 games where he went 9-3-1 with a goals against average of 7.14 and a save percentage of .826 with the Junior Adanacs.
In the 2014 Minto Cup, Camazzola played in two games where he had a record of 0-1 and a goals against of 19.46.
Camazzola will be a rookie in 2015 with the Adanacs and they already have two goaltenders in Adam Shute and Dan Lewis. Shute is currently on the Edmonton Rush’s NLL practice roster.
