Lacrosse Scores: Tight Games Throughout NCAA

The start to the 2015 season has been beyond intense with number 1 falling and an abundance of one goal games in regulation and overtime. This past Tuesday was nothing short of that. North Carolina at one point was down 6-2 against Bryant but climbed their way back to win 10-9. Saint Joseph’s gave Virginia a scare, but the Wahoos squeaked by with their one point victory as well. Fairfield, who has pestered teams all year, fell in another one goal loss, their fourth one goal loss of the season, to Bucknell. Last but not least, Penn State becomes 3-3 on the season with their 9-8 win over Marist. That was the Red Foxes first one goal loss of the season after winning their previous two against  High Point and Air Force. The one goal games didn’t end their as Division 2 had two of their own with Coker over Lynn in overtime, 11-10, and Mercy tallying nine goals to Rollins’ eight. At the division 3 level, there were no one goal games, but a few two goal contests, including Lynchburg falling again, this time to Endicott.
