Major League Lacrosse Three Stars

What a week in Major League Lacrosse! Who were the best of the best this week? I take a look.
Brian Phipps- Mover over Stefan Schroder, Brian Phipps is in town. Making 19 saves on 31 shots against the Nationals is not an easy task. He showed that he is an MLL goalie an can play with the best.
Dan Hostetler – when Crotty was inverted into a midfielder and Orsen couldn’t stop him, Hostetler stepped in and took control. Pulling off the hardest check in lacrosse, the rusty gate, to stop an elite player like Crotty is unbelievable. However, I’m picking him because he played a stellar game and took the Crotty assignment when no one else could stop him.
Greg Gurenlian – when your team is down but not out, the faceoff guy will have to step up, and step up he did. Greg went on to win 19 of 28 face-offs, scooped up 10 ground balls and score a goal. He is a beast at the X and will be the X factor if Long Island makes the playoffs.
