Sanderson an Offensive Key for Toronto in Early Season

Josh Sanderson has been a staple of the Toronto Rock since 2012. In his first season with the Rock, Sanderson notched 22 goals and 42 assists for 64 points. Sanderson has continued to produce offensively since his very first season. Last year Sanderson had 22 goals and 48 assists for 70 points in a season. Sanderson will have to take on more responsibility this year with Garrett Billings out for the first half of the season.

Sanderson will need to be the second offensive threat on the team as he and Stephan LeBlanc will be the focal points of the Rock offense for the first half of the season. The Rock will need Sanderson to continue to produce on the floor as well as off the field as he will need to be the leader on this team and use his veteran presence.

Sanderson will need to lead the Rock as they battle uphill without Garrett Billings and he will need to keep his team on point for what is sure to be a season of up and downs during the first half of the season.

If Sanderson can help keep the Rock from failing in the first half of the season then Billings should be able to come back and infuse the Rock with the offensive boost needed to get to the playoffs.
