According to a source with knowledge of the situation, the Toronto Rock and Rochester Knighthawks will play a pre season game in Montreal, Quebec on December 15th at the Bell Centre, the home of the Montreal Canadiens.
The last time there was a pro lacrosse team in Montreal was 2002. There had been talks of a Montreal team in CLax, but it never came to suffice.
There have been pre season games in Langley, British Columbia as an effort to bring the NLL back to Vancouver. There is no saying that this is not an effort to bring lax back to Montreal for the first time since the Montreal Express.
