Week 6 CLax Three Stars: Attwood On Top Once Again

The Canadian Lacrosse League (CLax) playoff picture became a bit clearer after last weekend as Niagara(5-2) and Ohsweken(7-0) have both punched their tickets to the semi-finals and secured home floor advantage. Here are the In Lacrosse We Trust CLax Three Stars for Week 6.

Third Star: Corey Fowler- Niagara Lock Monsters-
The Niagara-on-the-Lake,ON native helped the Lock Monsters solidify a top two finish with an 11-7 victory over SouthWest. Fowler netted a goal while adding four assists for a team high of five points.

Second Star: Mike Burke- SouthWest Cyclops-
Rookie Mike Burke was stellar last Friday night as he had his hands in on five of the seven Cyclops goals scored in the 11-7 SouthWest loss. The Caledon,ON native chipped in five points(1G,4A), bringing his freshmen season point total to 30.

First Star: Chris Attwood- Ohsweken Demons –
Once again, Chris Attwood finds himself on the top of the ILWT CLax Three Stars. The Brampton Excelsior scored a hat-trick while dishing out three helpers in the Demons seventh consecutive victory of the 2014 season. Attwood now leads all CLax runners in points with 46 in seven games.
