The Six Nation Arrows had a tough game last Sunday as they lost to Burlington 7-6. Six Nations came back this week with three games to help them make the statement that they are the real deal.

Young player Coleman Powless stepped up in his first junior A game finishing the night with a goal and two assists. Doug Jamieson had made twenty-seven saves to lead his team to victory.

On the road Saturday vs. the Toronto Beaches, both Maracle and Staats had four points and showed they are the backbone of the offense along with Jordan Durston who had a hat trick an a assist.

After walking away with the 10-5 win Saturday, the same teams faced off Sunday evening at the ILA.  The Arrows had much success in their game and walked away winning their third game in a row 12-6.

Rookie goalie Keaton Dale got the star in net as he made nine saves but let in all six goals. Doug Jamieson stepped in next the rest of the way making 25 saves on every shot he saw.

Ryan Johnston had four assists and has been a very good distributer on offense so far this season. Austin Staats had another six-point game while Maracle and Josh Johnson had five. Durston and John chipped in with 3 points each rounding out the offensive leaders.

The defense has been solid so far this season as Leo Stourus, Greg Longboat and Jerry Staats have been the three best playing in every game so far. Jerry started off the year playing with the Rebels but since joining the Arrows.

Next the Arrows will play Mimico at the ILA at 8:00pm.
