Bolstered by a big third period, the Coquitlam Adanacs defeated the Brampton Excelsiors 11-9 to take game 1 of the Minto Cup on Tuesday night. The Brampton Excelsiors will take on the Coquitlam Adanacs in a best-of-five series starting tonight to determine this year’s winner of the Minto Cup taking place in Calgary.
