Mike Hasen, Pat O’Toole and Dan Teat Leave Excelsiors

In some surprising news, all three Brampton Excelsiors coaches have said that they are leaving for the 2013 season. This includes Rochester Knighthawks coach Mike Hasen, former NLLer Dan Teat and Pat O’Toole. All three say they are stepping down to be with their children more. Ohio Machine Name 2013 Roster

Today the Ohio Machine announced their roster for the 2013 MLL season. On the NLL inactive list to start the season is Kyle Hartzell (Philadelpia), Kiel Matisz (Minnesota), and Chad Weidmaier (Philadelphia). Peter Baum, the top pick out of Colgate, will join the team after NCAA season.   Today the Charlotte Hounds announced their 25 man roster to open the season, and they are without three NLLers to open up: Geoff Snider on the Calgary Roughnecks, Carter Bender on the Buffalo Bandits and Shayne Jackson on the Minnesota Swarm. Stars Face Ironmen in CLax Championship

Today at 2pm the Iroquois Ironmen will face the Toronto Shooting Stars for the second ever Canadian Lacrosse League championship. Iroquois returns to the game for the second season in a row after they fell to the Ohsweken Demons last season. Shamrocks Trade for Conway

The Victoria Shamrocks have made big moves all off season, first acquiring forward Scott Ranger of the Calgary Roughnecks and then goaltender Matt Vinc of the Rochester Knighthawks.
