Patriot League Tournament Opens Today

Patriot League: Bucknell Looking Strong

Bucknell 9, Cornell 8 – If you were on time and could see through the blizzard, the opening 2 minutes looked  as though Cornell was about to run over another Patriot League team.  Two minutes and three Cornell goals later, the game was halted and a sweeper and plow were used to clear the field in what were ridiculous conditions, especially with a white ball.  The break seemed to help…

The Patriot League took advantage of spotlight offer by the Metropolitan Classic yesterday at a frigid Citi Field.   In the opener, Holy Cross midfielder Terry McKenna led the way with 4 goals as the Crusaders (4-3, 1-1) bested Navy 7-5 on Sunday.   The teams battled back and forth in the first half, ending with Holy Cross ahead 4-3.  Pat Durkin scored 2 goals for the Mids who are now 1-2…

Lehigh Dominates in Patriot League Action, Navy Struggles
