NALL Three Stars: Boston Sweeps

The Boston Rockhoppers began their season with a win over Kentucky, and with that win they sweep in this week’s three star awards. Andrew Kirkaldy- Boston Kirkaldy scored five goals in the victory to lead the Rockhoppers, scoring half of their goals. Rockhoppers Open NALL Season With 10-9 Win

The Boston Rockhoppers picked up their first win of the North American Lacrosse League season with a 10-9 victory over the Kentucky Stickhorses, repeating their performance when they defeated them to close out last season. Goaltender Nick Schroeder led the Rockhoppers with 40 saves in the win to counter the 37 saves from losing goaltender Spencer Lyons. Kentucky had 49 shots on goal to the Boston 47. Iannucci’s Late Goal Helps Stealth Upend Knighthawks

The Washington Stealth pulled an early season upset in front of 7,023 fans in Everett as they defeated the Rochester Knighthawks by a score of 13-12. Athan Iannucci tiptoed around the crease to score with 1:23 left in the contest to give the Stealth the lead and they did not look back as they start their season 1-0.
