Drexel Falls To Virginia 14-7 in Home Opener

Led by hat tricks by AJ Fish and Greg Coholan, the #14 Virginia Cavaliers (1-1), cruised to a 14-7 win over the Drexel Dragons (0-1) Saturday afternoon at Vidas Field in Philadelphia. Drexel Opens Season Against 0-1 Virginia

  Today at 1pm from Vidas Field in Philadelphia, the Drexel Dragons will open up their 2016 regular season as they host the #14 ranked University of Virginia (0-1).  UVA fell in their opener 11-4 to Loyola even though they outshot them 40-33. Tonight the Rochester Knighthawks open up year 22 of the franchise as they host the Colorado Mammoth.  The Mammoth are coming off a New Year’s Day victory over the Georgia Swarm 16-15.  Former Knighthawk John Grant Jr. scored the game winner.
