The Canadian Lacrosse League has announced the first of two makeup dates from games postponed due to weather from week four (February 4 – 10). The Toronto Shooting Stars (4-1) were originally scheduled to face the Ohsweken Demons (4-3) at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena on February 8th.
The game will now be played on Sunday February 24th at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena at 6:30pm.
This past weekend the Shooting Stars stunned the Barrie Blizzard in Barrie’s home opener 13-9. The win pushed Toronto to the top of the standings with eight points in five games. Two other teams – the Niagara Lock Monsters and Ohsweken Demons – also have eight points, but they have played six and seven games respectively.
On the season, Toronto is a perfect 2-0 on the road while Ohsweken is a perfect 3-0 at home.
