With another week of CLAX action in the books here are the three stars for the week:
3. Wayne VanEvery: VanEvery has been on fire this year and on Monday once again showed off his skills notching 3 goals and 3 assists for 6 points in a losing effort against the Niagara Lock Monsters. VanEvery sits third in league scoring and has been a force this season.
2. Corey Fowler: Fowler once again was an offensive dynamo this weekend as he led the Lock Monsters attack with 4 goals and 3 assists for 7 points. Fowler has been the spark for the Monsters offense and when he is on top of his game he makes everyone around him better. As long as Fowler is healthy expect Niagara to have one of the fiercest offenses in the league.
1. Angus Dinely- Dinely has been rock solid for the Stars and shined against the Blizzard this weekend. Dinely made 49 saves and had a goals against of 9. Dinely has been in best goalie in the league this year and has proven it every game he has played. Dinely with his win over the Blizzard sits tied for first in total wins this year with four. If Dinely continues his strong play the Stars may be playing in the creators cup.
