Third Star: Brandon Slade—Brock University
Sophomore Brandon Slade’s five point performance helped the Badgers secure a 12-9 victory over Western University. Slade potted two goals and three helpers, bringing his point total to 23, good enough for 10th in the league.
Second Star: Connor Goodwin—McGill University
Captain Connor Goodwin had a big weekend for the Redmen, netting the game-winning goal against Bishop’s to take a strangle hold on first place in the East. In their second game of the weekend, the New Westminster, BC midfielder netted three goals, four assists for seven points in the 18-3 win over Carleton. Goodwin now has eight goals, 15 assists for 23 points in six games.
First Star: Joshua Smith—Queen’s University
Senior attackman Joshua Smith filled the net this weekend, burying seven goals, six assists for 13 points in a pair of Queen’s victory. The Georgina, ON native now sits second in CUFLA scoring with 33 points in seven games.
