It’s hard to believe the worlds are already over. Getting to play for a national team had always been a dream of mine and it’s pretty awesome that it’s finally come true. The Russian team has definitely gone through changes over the past two weeks and I’m very happy to say I was apart if it and I hope the other American players can say the same thing.
We had really hoped to finish at a higher spot, but the no matter the out come, no matter the level of play, it was an honor to help grow the game around the world and further the learning of the players that really want it.
I’m sure the Russian born players will take what they have learned back and work hard over the next four years to prepare for the 2018 games. We congratulate all the teams in their hard work and look forward to seeing all of you again. Thank you for the support and remind everyone that we can’t grow the game without everyone’s help. We’ll see you again in 2018!
