Knighthawks Get Second Overall Pick, Send Powless to Vancouver

The Rochester Knighthawks have pulled off a blockbuster deal with the Vancouver Stealth to acquire the second and 11th overall picks in today’s 2014 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft. Rochester also receives the Stealth’s first-round picks in the 2015 and 2017 drafts. Michigan Building Lacrosse Only Stadium

According to a report from Lacrosse Magazine’s Corey McLaughlin, the University of Michigan is planning on building a 3,000 seat lacrosse only stadium. The Wolverines would add the stadium for their men’s and women’s lacrosse teams. This is part of a plan to build several new athletic facilities and will be partially funded by Michigan alum and Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross.
