Photos from Switzerland’s 16-14 win over Hong Kong in the placement bracket at the 2019 World Indoor Lacrosse Championship. Lukas Heri led Switzerland with six goals and three assists while Alexander Meier made 30 saves in goal. Evan Mok-Lamme scored three goals and six assists and Jordan Wong four goals and three assists to lead Hong Kong.

World Lax: Gold medal an honour for Canadian goaltender Poulin

Canadian goaltender Mike Poulin’s on a hot streak! After winning the Mike Kelley Award as Mann Cup MVP, he backstopped Canada to a gold medal performance over the Iroquois Nationals at the World Indoor Lacrosse Championship. *Note: the 2023 WILC will be in the Czech Republic, according to World Lacrosse president Sue Redfern’s closing ceremonies remarks. Ireland will host the 2020 men’s U19 field games.

Once again, Team USA came close to knocking off the Iroquois Nationals at the 2019 World Indoor Lacrosse Championship. After a 12-10 loss in group play, Thursday’s semifinal seemed to be even closer with the teams playing to a 2-2 tie at the half.
