McCready, Duch, Keogh Suspended This Week

The NLL suspension reports are in going into week seven. Joel McCready, transition man for the Rochester Knighthawks, will miss the Rochester tilt vs Buffalo this week due to a one game suspension. That suspension is in response to a post game altercation last week with Edmonton transition Jeremy Thompson.

Rochester will also miss forward Stephen Keogh this week. Keogh was handed his suspension for an altercation two weeks ago, but he appealed, and eventually withdrew his appeal. Keogh had an illegal cross check to Rory Smith of the Buffalo Bandits two weeks ago, leading to his suspension. He did play last week against Edmonton.

Rhys Duch of the Vancouver Stealth will miss this week’s contest with the Colorado Mammoth due to a suspension as well. Duch had an illegal cross check on Edmonton defender John Lintz on January 25. Like Keogh, he appealed his suspension and then withdrew it, and will miss this week.

Kyle Sorensen will have to serve his one game suspension this week. He came off the Injured Reserve on February 5 for the Stealth. He missed their last four games.
