LSU 15- 8 Auburn- LSU newest team member Hunter Stinson a transfer from Louisiana at Lafayette had seven goals and two assists for the Tigers to get the win and was the star of the game.Thomas Brown also had another standout game scoring four goals while dishing out three assists . Goalie Rick Battista made eleven saves while backup freshman Thomas O’Brien also saw time but did not record a save. For Auburn both Jeff Hamrick and Braxton Roman each recored hat tricks. Net minder Nick Sponye racked up nine saves but did let all fifteen goals in.
Tennessee Wesleyan 21- 7 Davidson- Parker Thomas had five goals and seven assists to show he is a duel threat attack man and a huge part of this blow out win for Tennessee Wesleyan.Dylan Carlson had six goals one assist Dalton O’Connell had five goals two assists. Goalie Oscar Cifuentes came out the game getting his team the win while making twenty-one saves.
Oregon State 8- 7-Arizona had a tough lose vs. OSU freshman Austin Miller got his first three goals of his college career. Tanner Knego had made seventeen saves but it was just not enough. Kevin Cathcart had half of his teams points scoring four goals for the Beavers Nick Widmer made 16 saves while Mickey Chaefer lead OSU in ground balls with eight.
Simon Fraser 17- 16 Dominican- Junoir Lyndon Knuttila was the player of the game for Fraser scoring six goals goalie Jeremy Lashar made sixteen saves. Dominican showed they have a bunch of players that can score three different players with hat tricks two with five points and two with four. Senoir Jake Fritz led the way with six points two points and four assists. Nick Dellipizzi made fifteen for Dominican.
San Diego State- 8 7 BYU- San Diego state got a nice close win over a good program in BYU. Kevin Hoover led the way with four points Kevin Leis and John Wilson each had three. Goalie Ryan Flaherty was a stand out with nineteen saves.
