Last week the Grand Rapids Dragonfish clinched the Mid States Division title, and thus a berth in the 2012 Midwest Indoor Lacrosse Association playoffs.
Grand Rapids faces the Detroit Coney Dogs this Saturday. Detroit is 0-7 on the season. The Cleveland Demons face the Pittsburgh Octane at a 1pm day game.
Pittsburgh is 5-2 and two games ahead of Cleveland for second place in the MILA Mid States Division. Cleveland does not have any more games after this, and thus the battle for the second playoff spot is only between Pittsburgh and Columbus.
The Minnesota Jaxx face off with the Milwaukee Marauders. It’s a very tight Central West Division, but Milwaukee and Minnesota both have only one win, and it looks like they will not make it.
Chicago faces the Colorado Sabertooths in a rematch of earlier this season. Both of these teams will likely be the Central West Division playoff teams.
Lastly, Columbus faces the Southern Ohio Box Lacrosse squad in a must win game if they want to make the playoffs.
