The fifth week of the Midwest Indoor Lacrosse Association is upon us. There will be only three games this weekend instead of the planned four, with one game being cancelled.
The Southern Ohio Box Lacrosse game against the Grand Rapids Dragonfish was cancelled due to Ohio not having enough players, according to their Facebook page.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Outlaws will look to rebound from their bad loss to Colorado last week. They will host the 0-1 Minnesota Jaxx.
The 0-4 Detroit Coney Dogs will take on the Cleveland Demons. Cleveland is two games under .500 and lead Detroit by one game in the standings.
Lastly, the undefeated Pittsburgh Octane will take on the Columbus Lacrosse Club. Pittsburgh is 3-1 on the season and Columbus is 2-2. Columbus leads the league with 93 goals scored on the season.
Things are heating up in the MILA division standings. Pittsburgh is half a game behind Grand Rapids for first in the Mid-States Division, and Southern Ohio is half a game behind them. Columbus is one back of Pittsburgh, and Cleveland is three and a half out of first.
In the Central/West Division, Chicago and Colorado are tied for the lead while Milwaukee and Minnesota are a game back.
