The Kentucky Stickhorses hit the road for the first time this season as they head north to face their rival Boston Rockhoppers. Boston last week lost at home to Baltimore while Kentucky defeated Rhode Island.
In net tonight for Boston will be Vince Talbot who has been backup in the last two games. He picked up a loss against Kentucky early last season.
Meanwhile in Kentucky, they got their offense to click last week behind a four goal performance from Travis Bland and three goals from Mike McClellan.
Those two will be the leaders on offense again for Kentucky while Boston counters with Mike Stone and Ryan Hotaling who both scored last week.
Last week Kentucky gave up 14 goals to Rhode Island, and Boston has a much better offensive unit. How they handle it depends on who starts in net and how their defense performs.
Boston has defeated Kentucky in the last two times they have faced, and this is the first time the Stickhorses will be playing in Boston at the New England Sports Center.
